I agree with all of the above. I also have a painting that I shall keep forever to remind me of how I started on my current trend. There was a 6 year gap, but that is another story!

My first ever successful result in Watercolour. From a project by William Newton, that fine Artist and Tutor. It still hangs above my desk as a reminder of how hard it was to get started. This was my inspiration quite a few years ago now.
