The building and the bridge work very well Chris. The sudden colour change in the water at the bridge looks a bit odd to me, reflections in water are difficult as I know only too well!

Thank you Stephen for your comments.I understand your comment on the reflection. I think this the problem with working to closely with photographs which i think sometimes tell us fibs.

I'm going to repeat myself again Chris....I think this is your best yet! Everyone you post is better than the last, love the granulated wash on the building. It's all good to me Chris.

Hello Chris. I've only just come across this - a scene I know very well from regular walks to St. Cyr's church. I think you've captured it very well - especially the colour variations in the building and bridge. I couldn't handle the intricacy of the brickwork so I painted it from the other side of the bridge!
