Acrylic on canvas 12x16ins. The challenge here was how to manage all the colours in the cloth while not overpowering the objects. Having a pale flower against the dark seemed a good place to start. I covered the canvas with areas of a lavender or darkish blue to begin with, and that set the palette very well for me.
