I am experimenting with acrylics at the moment and am painting on unstretched flat canvas taped to a board. Because the paints dry quickly, I can add layers of colour and then paint on. Unlike my oils however, I can’t easily scrape off paint if I want to. I am enjoying using these acrylics but I think oils will probably remain my favourite medium.
