A lot of us ask the same question Chris - why did we leave it so long. But we are making up for it. I also started with oils, but I am embracing lots of different mediums now, except I can't get to grips with watercolour. However, you may wish to stick with just a couple of mediums. This is lovely - carry on the good work.

I have finally found time to experiment with painting after raising a family and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. I find I am more drawn to oils although I do still paint in watercolour and even pastels from time to time. I enjoy painting various subjects whilst I am still learning the craft…
