A nice watercolour - perspective is good.

Very good perspective, did you use goache for the lighthouse and buildings?

I love this watercolour. How did you get the perspective so good?

thanks for al your comments,i used some white acrylic on the lighthouse and buildings,i used a bit of imagination as i have been to the lighthouse many times but this was done from a grainy photo..chris

I like the sharpness of the painting Chris. The shadows are a great contrast.

love the way you kept the buildings on the right niice and simple, emphasising light and dark. Can really feel the strength of the sun although we don't actually see it! Surely this is a picture of light and atmosphere rather than perspective? Looks to me like a beautiful fresh (cold?!) sunny morning. If you can capture that atmosphere from a photo then imagine what you could do if you went there and set up an easel with some oil paint or acrylics! Are you familiar with the paintings of Edward Hopper?
