Couldn't leave this tree unrecorded! It's unusual to find such a mature Scots Pine in S.E.England let alone one with a divided trunk. Thought it would need 'a little something' and so the buzzard was added but the challenge I set myself was in rendering the pine-and-bracken covered hillside behind in the hazy light, not having done anything like that before. I've toned down the purple-crimsons because I took photographs on a brighter day than this but there is still a bit of me thinking I ought to try high colour in bright sunshine - maybe! Size 20x24in
