Only two of these dinghies were ever built, as far as I am aware. The Flying Fox was built for the Duke of Edinburgh. At 24 feet long, Fairey Fox sailed very fast. Here she with a 6 man crew sailing in Trincomalee harbour in 1958. We towed a water skier later that afternoon very successfully but it needed a seventh crewman to hold the tow rope.
