Thanks Linda and Fiona for your kind comments. I have to admit I do not know where on Dartmoor Black Tor is situated! Incidently, a logan stone is one that rocks/moves!!

Super work Chris, I have been getting interested in coloured charcoal myself, didn't realise they are chunky sticks though,mine thought maybe there were some pencil versions that could be sharpened

This is my first serious attempt at drawing with coloured charcoal. The sticks are quite chunky so detail is hard to achieve so I have added touches of black charcoal using a fine stick to get some detail and to darken areas of shadow. I would love to know what viewers think.......
