Lovely watercolour Chris, this has worked really really well, love the colours and paleness of the distant misty hill which adds a sense of recession going into the scene

It's very well done, Chris, in a style distinctively yours. The washes are clear and the atmosphere is super, so I wouldn't say you fiddled with it too much at all.
