Lemon on cotton

That cotton cloth is extremely well painted.

Thank you for your kind comments. Ruth, the light spots were created by wetting a tooth pick, rubbing it on the yellow areas, then blotting with a tissue. The darker spots were simply applied on to the light areas with a fine brush.

Wonderful fabric. if I might suggest a slightly different colour for the shadow would make the lemon look less heavy; maybe purple and yellow?
