Very convincing and beautifully executed, Chris. The brickwork, expressions, hands and feet work very well indeed. Even the mortar pointing is believable. Another stormer. Bri

Many thanks for your comments Bri. The brickwork can be quite fascinating to me actually, especially when its weathered, with its variation of subtle colors and abstract patterns. And I think about the history behind it while painting brick buildings and architecture. Imagining memories of the people who built them and left an essence of their soul in the making.

Just lovely in every way, Christopher.

Fabulous painting Christopher, it does make you think why it's a 'day to remember,' they both look tired but contented, an emotional day I guess?

Many thanks for your comments Jennifer and Russell. For me the scene has a nice symbolism to it, which can be interpreted by the viewer on various personal levels. The whole film tells the story of events in just one day, and how the female character owns an antique shop in Italy and she meets a writer at a book signing. The attraction between them seems like they're rediscovering each other, as if they had met in a previous life. I like the fact that she is French and he is British and is filmed in Italy,

Great subtle use of colour Christopher, and i like the romantic inter-action,..well done!.....
