Good first attempt at an animal portrait Cherry

Thea and Ros, thank you for looking and for you comments. I have always enjoyed drawing and really do enjoy coloured pencils. It is a pity there is not a category specially for coloured pencils, especially as UKCPS is growing and there are now more demos/articles in LP.

This is a colour pencil drawing/painting of my granddaughter's cat, Emmie and is my first colour pencil animal portrait. I do feel that colopur pencil work should be given its own category as many people seem to regard their work as painting. This work is about 7" x 9" on Fabriano Grana Satina HP paper, using Coloursoft and Polychromos pencils.
