Butterfly orchid

Orchids being my favourite flowers, I like this very much. Beautifully painted, bravo Cherry!

Oh - so perfect and what a gorgeous colour these flowers are. I just love the fact that you have placed the flowers in a sea of white paper - so effective and very clever to do that - increases the impact.

Thea, I guess you may have come across this little painting elsewhere, where I said the composition was taken from a yellow orchid I have but I changed to colour. I do have a magenta orchid but several of the buds were knocked off accidentally before they managed to open. They are such fascinating flowers..
