Very good - I knew a painter, sadly no longer with us, of whom this technique reminds me: she painted in oil rather than watercolour, and this application of sweeps of colour, forming the shapes of the landscape, is very reminiscent of her work. It's almost as if there's a hand descending on the slopes, moulding them and shaping them.

Thank you Robert for your very kind and generous comment much appreciated.

Robert has put it better than I could, it was the sweeps of colour that attracted me.

Thank you Sandra, very kind of you.

Great painting, Cesare the whole mountain is alive. Lovely style.

Thanks so much, Willie.
