I don't know Walt Witman having just heard his name somewhere ... American? However, I find this portrait rather striking and engaging. I like the use purple.

Thank you Gudrun. Whitman is an American poet, who wrote a poetry collection named "Leaves of grass" printed in 1855. It was a reading of my youth and of my brother's youth.

Will have to look him up Cesare. A great portrait very characterful.

I see you Walt. Too early for his time but he has now arrived Cesare.
