For somebody who has never seriously painted with oils this is remarkable Cesare! You are on the fourth step!

Wow Cesare, a stunning landscape,so different from your normal genre. You seem to have taken to oils like a duck to water. The improvements you are making are remarkable. Really well done. I'm not saying ditch the watercolours but you should definitely Persue this further.

I've never tried the water soluble oils and probably won't as I am happy using the other kind, but I must say that this is a very good start for you Cesare.

Brilliant you must be pleased with this well done

A lovely painting Cesare. I think you handle the oil paints really well.

I think a very good first step, Cesare!

Excellent, can't believe it's your first steps with oils.

Thank so much to all for your kind encouragements. I would try to improve in water-soluble oils, but I never will ditch watercolours, because it is my favourite medium, and I have still a lot to learn in this technique.

Great first and so inspiring Cesare - hope there will be more to come.

The light and warmth shines out of this one. Lovely. Do some more!!!

This is very good Cesare, especially as you are relatively new to oils. I had a spell trying them a couple of years ago, but like yourself I really prefer watercolour. But it is good to experiment and I think it encouraged me to work in a stronger way.

Many thanks Michael, Gudrun and Stephen for your encouraging words.

I can see how you are using the oils in a different way Cesare, the paint is more thickly applied than your earlier ones. It's very good, you must continue.

Truly genius work Romano.

Many thanks Marjorie and Tanusree for your encouraging words.

Really good study Cesare, very well done. More please.

Excellent Cesare! A huge success for your first attempt.

Many thanks George, Fiona and Timothy for your kind encouragements.

This has a lovely, summery atmosphere. The brushwork and palette are super. A great start, Cesare! Looking forward to seeing more!

As you commented on my painting wanted to see you work. This is something that draw my attention. Its is simple and rich at the same time. Like to blue hue you used for the sky.
