One of my favourite artists and this is very typical of his work, though he may have used more black. Nice work Cesare.

Wonderful Cesare it shows your skills and talent great work

Many thanks Dennis, too kind.

And a favourite artist of mine Cesare, brilliant work.

Many thanks Alan.

A lovely rendition of a wonderful work of art, well worth the time and effort involved in putting this together. Well done Cesare.

The look and feel of this is very good, I hope you are very happy with the work. Manet is not a favourite of mine equally the group of artist&#39;s of that genre, but that you do appreciate them is evident in this work. <br />Very well done, I would not know where to start.

Many thanks Andr&#233; and Christopher.

Great painting, Cesare - you should paint in oils more as it&#39;s very good!

Many thanks Jan, This is my first and only oil I painted. I think it was the beginner&#39;s luck, but I will try to paint more with water-soluble oil.

A great work, really good you must do more work in oils.

Many thanks David, it is a very old one. Now I use water-soluble oils.

you have done a great job here

Being fairly new to this site, I've been looking through the older works in the galleries and I came across this. A fine piece of work...I'm an admirer of Manet and have copied one of his pieces ...so I know how difficult it is. I also enjoyed looking through your gallery. I love the variety, and especially like the drawings, a fine body of work.

Oil on canvas 40 x 60 cm. A very old painting. This is my first and only oil I painted. I devoted to it few hours for many days. It is a copy of a painting of Edouard Manet.
