Some lovely washes Ceri. You aren't afraid to 'splash it on'! The colours of the foliage too are so delicious. The path is going uphill, and I wonder, was that how it was? No problem if it was, but I hope you don't mind my suggesting that a lower horizon would look nice with a subject like this. It would flatten out the path, and make for a wider aspect; giving opportunity for tree shadows and textures in the earth. It would look all the more inviting and/or mysterious. A band of shadow right at the front could be advantageous too. Have a go at a small version of this and see if my suggestions please your eye. You do seem to be coming on in leaps and bounds so please keep painting! Best Wishes for 2021. John
