A work that originated from this week's art class homework. This work had to incorporate the use the elements of tonal value, edges, limited palette. With the theme in mind, breaking free, it had to be linked to a bird aspect that will portray this feeling. Started of by using aquarelle pencils, then moved on to diluted acrylic paint. As it progressed, aquarelle pencils were used again. The acrylic paint was applied in glazes. It was an enjoyable piece of homework.
