30 minutes well spent Cathy, this is very eye catching and done really well

Well drawn and the colours are wonderfully crisp, yet rich. I would love to know how you achieved all the effects using just Sharpies and oil pastels... two of the least malleable media in my art box.

I like your still life paintings and this is a vry good quickie!

Owen - in reply to your question - I used a piece of paper with the blue colour already on (from another project) and the watery/bleeding paint was perfect for the effect I was looking for. That's why I never throw anything away! You never know when it might come in handy!

Artsocial class study was a lovely little trio (keeping to the rule of 3) and I used some scrap paper, a continuous line drawing with sharpie pen and oil pastels. It was a quick study taking about 30 mins.
