Got a feeling your camera (light) didn't do this full justice Carolyn. Nice sketch.

Thank you very much Jim. The original photograph is far better than my sketch Jim . But you are right the photograph of the sketch does not bring out all the tones. I use my phone camera for these. Perhaps I should use my Nikon!.

During the winter snow I was out taking photographs in the Lakes and came upon a solitary fisherman. Naturally I took several snaps and as the scene was so bleak decided to draw it in monochrome.. i used 2, 4 and 6B pencils and watersoluble graphite for the clouds and part of the water.
