This portrait is beautiful Carolyn. You get amazing results with coloured pencils. I find pastel pencils much easier to work with.

Thank you Heather and Carole. Carole, I had planned to do this in pastel and had both velour and pastelmat lines up but I chickened out at the last moment;-(

Great job Carolyn. Is that pastelmat? I find that white is the worst colour to get on the paper.

Dorothy, the paper is Clarefontaine multi media naturel (correct spelling) 250gsm I like it because it takes loads of hammer. I decided to indent to see what the outcome would be and am pleasantly surprised.
