I know what you mean about the background and I agree with Carole, it would look lovely with a darker background perhaps. Your actual foxglove flowers are beautiful Carolyn. that's the trouble with watercolour, you never quite know what is going to happen!

I tried to produce a looser style with the background. Inktense on A4 paper. I think the background spoils the flowers. it's a shame that you can't just press an undo button when painting ;-))
