Nice work Carolyn like the way the path leads you into the painting 😀

Lovely textures of the stones and mountains. I’d love to be on that path

Very successful Caroline.

This is excellent Carolyn, great textures and marks, as others have mentioned.

Thank you very much everyone for your kind words. My friend and I were at the back walking slower and I loved the view so took a photograph which I used as a reference to the picture.

Very competent artwork Carolyn. Not heard of those pencils before.

Thank you Carole. I saw them on Amazon then checked them out on www.bestcolouredpencils.com they had 4.5 stars and my favourite Derwent artists only had 4 stars. Given the price difference I gave the Arteza expert a try. The coloured pencils are semi water soluble, great blenders and layer really well. Each pencil shows the colour vastness and I really like them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Carolyn, I decided to give them a try and have ordered from Amazon:)

Hope that you are not disappointed

Trying out my new Arteza coloured pencils and water colour pencils. I like them as much as my Derwent Artist and Faber Castell Polychromos and they were half the price so I am glad that I treated myself. I enjoy using coloured pencil but up until now have really only drawn dogs and cats. I think it is time to take a walk on the wild side !
