This is the cottage garden at Sunnyside, Washing Irving's estate in Tarrytown, N.Y. USA. It is the kitchen garden and I have spent many times taking photos or plein air painting in this garden. It is always a delight and often filled with flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. This painting is framed with a silver frame.
