I like this, Carol. I would suggest, very humbly, that you vary your tonal range, it is all about darks and lights and contrast....Love the reeds in the foreground. Hope you don't mind my comment re tonal values...It is really amazing when you use a dark to make the painting 'Zing' (Still trying to do it myself, actually...I can talk, can't I?!!)
