Autumn Trees

Lovely warm colours in the trees. Sky is a lovely colour. The foreground does not do any favours to the picture. If you want a grey colour, do not use black and white, as that will produce a dead colour. Use a mixture of burnt sienna with ultramarine instead and lighten if as needs be. Any other combination of opposite/complementary colours will also make grey. (Red and Green, Blue and Orange, Yellow and Magenta).

Thank you for your comments Linda. I don't think I used black & white in the foreground but I welcome your advice on colour mixes to produce a better colour. I think I have produced quite a lot of "mud" like colours in the past!!!!
