Nicely painted, super colours.

What an explosion of colour!

It’s lovely, really like it Carole.

Your work and colour always has a feel good factor to it Carole! Your pears look very attractive and make a very appealing still life.

It's lovely, super use of colour too

They look delicious well done Carole.

Love the warmth and beauty you have captured Carole. Great painting.

Super work Carole.

A beautifully warm palette - super painting!

It’s exuberant in colour and forms Carole. Well I squint my eye and the pears do not merge into the background.

Very many thanks David, Bob, Stephen, Lynda, Ronald, Tessa, Heather, Romila, Shaun, Denise, Anne and John for all your encouraging comments. Wasn’t very happy with the result as I find the background a bit intrusive, so thank you for making me feel better about it.

Well done Carole, you’ve made me want to go out and buy some pears.

Sumptuous colour Carole, disappointing that the pears were too hard to eat, it happens often but you did the next best thing.

Beautifully painted Carole. Love the colours.

Nothing worse than. a hard pear Carole but you've made them look delicious.

I love the warmth of your painting Carole and I always love a still life.

Lovely glow to your pears, like it, Carole

Thank you Marjorie, George, Russell, Diane and Maureen for your kind comments. They are much appreciated.

Bought Loads of pears but they are too hard to eat so thought I would paint a still life with some of them. Soft pastels and pastel pencils on pastelmat. I should have chosen a darker colour as the pears merge into the background rather too much. The bowl is hand crafted and made from walnut. 12” x 16”.
