First painting of the year and at last I’m settled enough to begin painting once more, after months of being unsettled. I wanted to paint Jasmine as she was in a particularly pensive mood. This is unusual for her, as she is always jovial and carefree. Used soft pastels and pastel pencils on Clairefontane pastel paper. 12” x 14”.
