Hydrangea from the garden

It was great before, and it's still great. It's bright and colourful. Watercolours can be as bold as the other media. Vivid colour is entirely appropriate to the subject. I think it's a cracking painting.

I was sure I'd posted a comment on this yesterday !! Senior moment perhaps :) I said that hydrangeas are not easy to paint but you've made a really good job of this and I especially the way you've painted the leaves .
