This a painting I did of Venice. Strange title , I know, but I painted it thinking of a New Year’s Eve there, sitting down with my husband, dressed up to the nines, to a lovely eight course gourmet meal . He felt very nauseas suddenly after the first course and we had to leave and spend New Years’ eve with no food in a pokey hotel room!
