Chicken Feed by George Wilson

I like the idea of this and a bit like my own 'rustic' approach as per my sardine posted seven posts after this - might have a go on something similar - works really well here.

Thanks for the comment Michael, I saw your excellent sardine. The Hessian was a bit too rough to paint on, so I gave it several coats of gesso before painting because I wanted it to look like a sack.
