Always so sad to see dead birds - nonetheless a very good painting and those downy feathers are excellent.

Oh so sad, and sensitive to witness a bird death, I always grimace when I see a bird fallen and inert. Very well expressed and bestows a kind of sadness which is solemn and sacred in a way as birds do bring so much cheerfulness and joy. An excellent painting Detlev.
