My Father

Very good for a first acrylic - what did your father think of it? Your work has moved on somewhat since this first painting, but you have been able to capture character from the start.

Thank you Robert, you really make my day! I treasure your opinion. Unfortunately my father died 2 years ago...I worked with the photo. As a background I used some glue and suger and painted over with the indanthrene blue/grey acrylic; it gives very rich and rough texture.
