This is especially interesting as it shows the breadth of your work - i.e., it's completely different from many of your other paintings. I like its precision and subtle colouring.

Field Mushrooms, 30 x 30 cm. Copyright @2009, Midge This painting was inspired by a close up shot taken of some field mushroom whilst out walking the dog one day near my home. It combined pen and wash techniques with masking out and wet-in-wet washes.
