Very effective work Bridget, and it has worked well here to give a beautiful sea view of evening light

What a beautiful painting Bridget.

The light in this painting is fabulous.

Brilliant depiction of light, sky and sea Bridget. I like the vertical format - though it looks taller and narrower than 100 x 50.

Hello Pat with reference to your comment on the size, the original painting framed is 60x110cm, so it is correct. When the picture was scannned and loaded onto the computer as a jpg I had to rotate the document and the computer reduced itto fit, so yes you are right when looking at it online it appears taller. Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your comments.

The last light at Northcott Mouth in North Cornwall. This narrow opening between the rocks shows the a window of light catching the last light and illuminating the beach ahead. Painted on canvas using acrylics, acrylic inks and black pumice moulding paste for foreground rocks, size 100x50cm
