Gorse Blossom

I thought I'd added a comment but mustn't have pressed submit. Well, for the second time, it's a lovely painting Bridget and you've caught the season perfectly.

The touches of hot brown - burnt sienna, I expect - were important in this: without them, even with the strong yellows which I think you've spattered, the painting would have been less convincing. Like the simple composition, with the detail in the simplicity: I did a similar thing (well, a similar attempt) a couple of years ago which is on my gallery, and am rather fond of it, but yours is fresher.

I love this it's beautiful colours really stand out!!
