Brian, a little bit of info is always nice, size and medium as a minimum, instead of us all having to guess!

Thanks for the kind comments. I use acrylic along with household matt emulsion from tester pots. My landscapes are on board, roughly a metre wide. The other compositions are on paper, same technique and a bit bigger. The emulsion gives a nice matt finish, at a fraction of the cost of acrylic and gouache. I can be less precious then.
