This is terrific. I'm not a bike fan at all but the sense of speed and the spray are so good I was drawn to this right away.

I like this smokey atmosphere. The reflection is a key, isn't it?

Thanks Diana, Midori and Margot for your comments. I found it much more relaxing painting this scene, than watching on TV. How they manage to stay on those bikes I do not know. I did have a Kawasaki once, but my cornering was done very sedately. I painted this on my favourite Bockinford paper, which always gives me superb results. It is also very good for correcting mistakes ( which I am very good at) as removing paint from it is asmost as easy as putting it on!
