I'd like to see this closer up?

Thank you Heather - I'm not very good with tech. You have probably noticed another of my paintings has turned itself sideways in spite of being up right when I uploaded it. I am new to this site and hope to improve as time goes on. I did this painting with pallet knife in acrylic on canvas and although a sombre subject I was pleased with the results. My husband (in the background) made the frame from recycled wood. Thank you so much for taking an interest. It means a lot.

Hey Victoria, this has a haunting look. A powerful use of tone and looks to me that you have worked harder than it would first seem. I like this painting and I really think that it is far and away the best you have uploaded. Stick to this approach. A super result.....

Thank you so much for your comments Guy. I must confess I loved painting these two lost souls. I am not very confident so your uplifting remarks have really encouraged me. Love your description of "haunting" and as you so rightly suggest I will continue with this media and technique.
