Watercolour sketch, approx A5. This is somewhere I visited at a time when it was possible to actually walk among the stones and feel the atmosphere. I thought I would paint the feel of the place in a pretty unrestrained way without much attention given to the painting process. In other words it probably looks scruffy but it's just a sketchbook rendering!!!
