HI BIll, NOT to be scrapped in my hunble oppinion, i think its just beautifull, with all the quality of your usal style, its just lovely. certainley NOT to be put in the bin.!!!!! would you please offer my sincere apology to your wife, who very kindly made some nice comments on some of my work. i accidently deleted some pics by mistake,..but have reinstated them along with the comments, and my reply's. i've been an even bigger dim-wit than usual of late ,..due to family problems..!!! i once deleted a whole portfolio of my pics, which i was livid at,..as you lose all the lovely and helpfull comments. im just a ditzy sort of person at times.!! lol. leave your pic alone thats an order..!!! its one i would have been very proud of. Why were you disappointed Bill? Did you see the painting in another way in your mind? I think this has the atmosphere of a dull winter day, with just brightness of the sails to cheer the heart. The sand dunes and grasses are painted with such skill and the shimmer of the grey water is just right. Give this one time and I am sure it will grow on you as it really is very good.

I like this, please don't scrap it ! The grey in the sky reflected on the water looks so good. The splash of orange gives it so much. KEEP IT !!! Best wishes Carole.

Definately DO NOT SCRAP it. If you are unhappy with it put it away out of sight for a month or two then view it with fresh eyes and I'm sure you'll love it as much as we do. Thanks for your comments on my oil of Fly paddling in the loch, regards Val.

I really like this watercolour painting and definitely should not be scrapped. I like the atmosphere of bad weather.
