A lovely result, with striking effect, and what a gorgeous background. I have some pots of Dylon fabric paint....I imagine that would be interesting to try, in flower painting, perhaps, amongst other things. Thank you.

Very effective and wonderful colours used. You look very ghostly there Bev!

PS; You could of course use your 'Bev's ghost' as a trademark in your work! It would be original anyway.....

Wings having captured prismatic light. Marvelous effect!

Thankyou for your remarks ...useing fabric dye on wet paper is great...I use Arches 140 not .. I have used the green dye... it breaks out into orange and yellow ..you have to try it.. to see what i mean ..and yes into aa flower background would be good ..I will look out to see if anyone tries this I also so like the Jeans Blue ... it is what I used here in the butterflies But beware of your brushes..It will spoil them .. I normaly paint in watercolour tthen add the dye tthen not paint into it again ..happy Painting everyone Bev

Beautiful colours, to great effect!

Stunning jewel colours

Wonderful colours, great subject to paint, like it very much.

Great picture. I like the way the light shines through the wings. Will have to try the dye.

A very striking image..Well done Bev...Steve

This is watercolour with a little fabric dye dropped in to give a little magic ...I took a photograph of the painting.. and untill someone else told me ..they could see me doing that ?in the reflection ? I didnt realise at the time ... but I can just make it out ! I now photograph before framing no glass reflection !
