Hi Heather. Thanks. It's a digital painting 40cm wide. I'm using a Desktop, Wacom Pen Tablet and Artrage 5. The texture on the feathers was created using brushes I purchased outside the software.

National bird of the Bahamas. Mostly found in Americas, Africa and Asia. Lifespan 20-30 years. Diet - blue shrimp, blue-green algae and insect larvae. Flamingos have been known to fly 500 to 600 km each night between habitats. The color pink comes from beta-carotene in the crustaceans and plankton that flamingos eat.
