You're quite right. The stallion would be tucked away and cosseted .... Lovely painting. The stallion reminds me of a horse I ride.

Another great painting

This is probably my favourite of your horse paintings,although I love them all.The greens in this are beautifully done and fade awat nicely into the distance without going blue,which you see in a lot of paintings.It would have worked without the stallion.You could have done him in another similar painting of the same size to make a saleable pair ! (mercenary marketing tecniques!)
