This picture was inspired by a photo in my local paper of the Harlem Dance Comany's visit to Plymouth. All the dancers were in black costumes but I thought they would look better in different colours. I also like the work of Jack Vetrianno particularly his dancers on the beach. So I liked the idea of the dancers up on their points on the sand!!
