Great Budworth

Another clean and intricate drawing, Bari. Lovely work.

This is excellent. Plumbing has its place, but this is your calling!

Super details.

Great detail and wonderful drawing. You must have immense patience to be able to draw all the cobblestones.

"Could have too many cobblestones" - well, it's not one o' they "less is more" efforts, is it? I suppose it could be said to have rather too many, and of course you could crop this - maybe about an inch up from the bottom edge. I say "could", not "should" - because this is your style, the stones lead into the picture, and the only thing I might have done, if I still had the eyesight and patience for this sort of work, is add a wash of dilute ink, or watercolour, to indicate some shadow. If I were responsible for promoting tourism to Great Budworth, though, I'd commission you to illustrate a guide book, plus postcards, leather bookmarks, place-mats, because these clean lines would print well and I'm sure would be welcome as souvenirs.

PS - It's got ME interested in the place, and I'd never heard of it until today! That church looks imposing and interesting, the dark entrance inviting us in.

Thanks for the nice comments and yes Robert it is one of the unspoilt villages of Cheshire. One of our regular walks in the summer we pick nick in the church yard and winter in the pub opposite the church, as to eyesight and patience I'm 80 this year....

Fab drawing Bari, I love your pen work.
