I wish I could find them now - I did a whole series of drawings of WWII battleships and a Tribal Class destroyer, YEARS ago; I had more patience then. I'd like to see this is a bit more close-up but from what I can see you've got the detail and the movement of the ships in the water.

Barry, we are kindred spirts - love of the sea and the RN. Thanks for your kind comments on the Ark drawing. Are you ex FAA? Sounds like it from your time at sea. I was in Bulwark in 1958 learning my "trade" so to speak and have many happy memories of that ship. - Must do a drawing of her next. I spent 3 months of my time onboard as the temporary, unoffoicial FDO 4. A great experience which decided me to go into the FAA Love to see your picture of fearless. May I suggest that your excellent pictures would be even more impressive if photographed at right angles in good light and no flash? Then cropped? I find this photographing process loses the white in the picture which goes grey. It can be restored with suitable software. I use Photoshop Elements.

Best of luck with picasa - I don't know it. Were you in the rusty B in 1958?

Just put up another pic of the Ark. Might try an aeroplane or submarine next

This is my impression of Type 42 Destroyer HMS Exeter leading two type22 Frigates and a type 21 taken from an old photo in a book on Destroyers and Frigates.
