Before I opened up the thumbnail I was all ready to say this reminds me so much of Hopper. You beat me to it. It works extremely well. I find such paintings of his really compelling although a little bit sad.

Thank you for your comment. I know what you mean about Hopper. There does seem to be a sadness in alot of his paintings. I like his style though and the colours he uses. I find it difficult to come up with subjects that interest me to paint. How do you manage this?
